We believe in a one-stop approach to cardiac care, so the price of your booking includes:

– Consultation with one of our Heart Specialist Doctors.
• – Diagnostic tests performed by the Doctors themselves.
  • – Preliminary results provided and explained there and then.
    • – Full results, and an action plan, emailed to yourself and your GP within 24 hours.
      • – Referral for follow-up as necessary.

A safe, non-invasive cardiac ultrasound scan to assess your heart's structure and function.

An echocardiogram - or 'echo' - is an ultrasound that directly visualises your heart. At our comfortable clinics, you will meet one of our experts who will discuss your cardiovascular health and your reasons for having the scan. The ultrasound itself will take 15-30 minutes, and is completely safe (see our FAQs for more details).

On conclusion of the scan, your Doctor will be able to provide you with preliminary results, and advise the need for any follow-up if required. A full technical summary will subsequently be sent to you and your GP within 24 hours

Heart rhythm problem? Chest pain? An ECG can provide answers immediately.

An ECG is an assessment of the heart's rhythm. During the test, 10 stickers and leads are attached across the bare chest, and the electrical activity of the heart is recorded.

Whilst this is a less comprehensive assessment of the heart when compared with an ultrasound, it is the only investigation that can provide additional information about certain problems with the electrical wiring of the heart. An ECG involves zero risk, and our Team member will be able to explain your results straight away.

Palpitations or dizzy spells? Continuous analysis of your heart rhythm can clinch the diagnosis.

Our discreet, waterproof Biosensors can be applied in clinic, worn for up to 200 hours, and posted back to us (pre-paid) for the results. In addition to providing continuous 2-channel heart rhythm analysis, the Biosensor has a simple, integrated symptom activator which allows you to draw attention to any symptomatic episodes. Once removed, your ambulatory ECG data will be analysed by a team of expert Physiologists to pinpoint the cause of your palpitations.

If you've been told your previous ECGs are normal but you are still experiencing symptoms, a 7 day holter monitor can help you get the answers you need.

Exertional dizzy spells? Drive or fly for a living? An exercise test can screen for arrhythmias and also demonstrate your fitness to work.

Our treadmill and wireless ECG system deliver a full Bruce protocol exercise test. This examination, which involves up to 7 stages of progressively more intense exertion, is used to check for exercise-induced strain on the heart. You will be closely monitored throughout by one of our Doctors.

Certain regulatory bodies, such as TFL, the DVLA or the CAA, may insist on exercise testing as part of their licensing requirements. Our Doctors would be happy to complete the necessary documentation as part of your medical assessment.
